Privacy Policy — SandMan Alert

SandMan Alert ("the App") is an internal industrial monitoring and alert application developed by MPM Infosoft for use by authorized employees of registered foundry facilities. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Who can use this App

The App is intended solely for employees and authorized personnel of foundries that have been registered by MPM Infosoft. It is not available to the general public and is not directed at children. Access requires a login provided by your facility's administrator.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and login credentials, used to authenticate you and associate you with your assigned foundry and role.
• Push notification token (FCM): a device identifier issued by Firebase Cloud Messaging, used solely to deliver alert notifications to your device.
• Alert and acknowledgment data: sand-quality parameter readings, alert history, and any remarks you enter when acknowledging or dismissing an alert. This is operational facility data, not personal data about you beyond your name as the acknowledging user.
• App preferences: your selected alert language and sound preferences.

The App does not collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or browsing history, and contains no advertising or analytics tracking SDKs.

How We Use This Information

• To authenticate you and show you alerts relevant to your assigned facility
• To deliver real-time push notifications about sand parameter alerts, including escalating an unacknowledged alert to the next responsible person as configured by your facility's admin
• To maintain a record of alert acknowledgments for operational and compliance purposes

How We Share This Information

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): your device's push token is shared with Google's Firebase service solely to deliver notifications to your device.
• We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
• We do not use your information for advertising or ad personalization.
• Alert and acknowledgment data may be relayed to your facility's own internal SandMan monitoring system for record-keeping, where configured by your facility administrator.

Data Security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Account data is stored on servers managed by MPM Infosoft with access restricted to authorized personnel.

Data Retention and Deletion

Account and alert data is retained for as long as your account remains active with your facility. To request deletion of your account or associated personal data, contact your facility administrator or reach out to us directly using the contact details below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
